We meet every Thursday (6-9pm) at J.P. Licks, 659 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA 02130. This is normally a casual chess night unless there is a touranment (see below). We provide sets and clocks. Just show up any time you like. No commitments. No fees or membership required.

Our month end on-line blitz arena that happens the last Tuesday evening of each month, starting at 8pm and ending at 9pm.

Our outdoor tournament and chess events run in the streets of Jamaica Plain during the Open Streets event. Tables are also available for casual chess.

AUG 2, 2026

Once a year we are at the Roslindale weekend market for some casual chess and to spread the word about JP Chess.
