Winter SWISS

The Slow Winter SWISS (SWS) tournament for 2026/27 will start on November 1 and will end March 31. There will be 4 rounds. We may add an additional round if we have more than 16 players. Games are unrated. Time control is 50 minutes plus 10 seconds increment per player. Plaers may agree on an alternative classical time. Games can be played on club night (preference), outside or club night at mutually agreed location or on-line. Players are to arrange between them a place and time to play. Each player plays one game per round. The schedule is as follows:

• Round 1: Nov 1 to Dec 15

• Round 2: Dec 15 to Jan 31

• Round 3: Feb 1 to Feb 28

• Round 4: Mar 1 to Mar 31

Rounds may starter sooner than scheduled if all the games have been played.
